Iridex Signs Distribution Deal with Peregrine Surgical

Iridex Corp. has announced a partnership with the privately held Peregrine Surgical Ltd. of New Britain, Pa., that expands its ophthalmology product portfolio.

Under the arrangement, Iridex will become a worldwide distributor of Peregrine Surgical’s products and Peregrine will be integrated into the Iridex supply chain. The partnership is expected to create broader coverage for both of the companies’ product lines.

Iridex’s ophthalmology surgical instruments include the EndoProbe laser, handpieces and GreenTip cannulas.
