Edmund Optics Offers Coherent’s OBIS Lasers

Edmund Optics is offering Coherent Inc.’s OBIS laser systems for OEM and scientific applications, including the life sciences. They are suitable for microscopy, DNA sequencing, drug delivery, fluorescence excitation of dyes and proteins in flow cytometry, and environmental monitoring, inspection and experimentation.

The compact plug-and-play lasers provide wavelengths from the ultraviolet to the near-infrared on a single platform, and each device uses either proprietary optically pumped semiconductor laser or laser diode-based technology. It provides a circular beam and uses smart electronics to deliver low-noise optical performance.

Nineteen models are available for immediate delivery.
