Shareholding in Suss MicroOptics Increases to 100 Percent
Süss MicroTec AG announced that it has increased its shareholding in Suss MicroOptics SA of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, from 85 percent to 100 percent.
“By acquiring 100 percent of Suss MicroOptics, we have undertaken another step toward streamlining our organizational structure and have tied the company, which masters key technologies for us, close to the Süss MicroTec group,” said Frank P. Averdung, president and CEO of Süss MicroTec.
Suss MicroOptics manufactures high-quality refractive and diffractive micro-optics. Its manufacturing techniques are based on 200-mm quartz and silicon wafer technology.
Süss MicroTec supplies equipment and process solutions for microstructuring in the semiconductor industry and related markets.
