Excelitas Hires General Counsel

Steven E. Boyce has joined customized optoelectronics provider Excelitas Technologies as vice president, general counsel and secretary, the company announced.

In his new role, Boyce will oversee all legal matters relating to the company.

Prior to joining Excelitas, he served as senior corporate counsel for the Mobility Internet Technology Group within Cisco Systems. He has worked for Getronics, the successor to Wang Laboratories, as well as Starent Networks. He has also held senior positions at several law firms.
