Zecotek Granted 3-D Display Patent
Zecotek Photonics Inc. has been granted a patent for its glasses-free 3-D autostereoscopic display system from the US Patent and Trademark Office. Patent No. 7,944,465 covers the use of equipment for reproducing static and moving 3-D stereo representations, and for recording and transmitting stereo representations of 3-D scenes. The display system is based on the autostereoscopic principle but with substantial innovation. It can present 2- and 3-D images simultaneously, and to multiple users using the same screen. Separate views and angles are possible also.
