Rofin-Sinar Expands in Finland
Laser beam source and laser-based solutions manufacturer Rofin-Sinar Technologies Inc. has acquired a block of buildings in Tampere, Finland, through its wholly owned subsidiary !%CorelaseOy%!. The $5.3 million acquisition will enable an increase in manufacturing capacity for the company’s fiber laser series. The buildings provide more than 5000 m
2 of floor space, including approximately 800 m
2 of existing cleanroom capacity.
