Education Grants Go Global

Optics%! of Barrington, N.J., has expanded its annual Higher Education Grant Program
to include university optics programs in Europe, Asia and the Americas. The program
will donate more than $60,000 in products, including
e10,000
worth to university programs in Europe, plus a trip to Vision 2011 in Stuttgart,
Germany; $22,500 to programs in Asia; and $22,500 to programs in the Americas. The
American grants will support outstanding undergraduate and graduate optics programs
in science, technology, engineering and mathematics at nonprofit colleges and universities.
Applications can be found on the company’s website and must be submitted by
June 30, 2011.
