Vytran Hires De Costa as Sales Director

Optical fiber processing solutions provider Vytran LLC announced the appointment of William J. De Costa as its director of sales and marketing.

De Costa brings to the company more than 20 years of experience in marketing, sales, program management and product development. In addition, he has built global sales organizations and marketed photonic systems for both established and start-up companies.

Prior to joining Vytran, he served as sales manager at AOFR, and as the director of sales and marketing for Sabeus and for Oluma. Before that, he spent 13 years at Coherent as a senior engineer and also as a product line manager.

“I am thrilled to be able to leverage Vytran’s advanced fiber processing technologies to increase the capabilities of both research scientists in the lab and technicians on the production floor,” De Costa said. “I also intend to grow Vytran’s increased customer focus to continue to empower developers and manufacturers of optical fiber products.”
