Cell Imaging covers key techniques that can be used in laboratories with
access to cell imaging equipment. Although the 350-page book focuses on live-cell
imaging and light microscopy applications, many of the methods are relevant to imaging
fixed specimens as well. Suitable for experienced researchers as well as for newcomers
to the field, the resource includes a chapter on selecting the appropriate method
for imaging requirements. Other sections cover areas such as transmitted light imaging,
image quantification and analysis, high-content and high-throughput screening, correlative
