Carl Zeiss Buys Imaging Associates

Carl Zeiss Ltd. announced an agreement to acquire Imaging Associates (IMAS) Ltd. as part of its continuing investment into customer support and service delivery.

Distributing Zeiss’ materials microscopy range of products in the UK since 1992, IMAS supports digital imaging platforms in research, clinical and industrial environments.

Located in Bicester, the company will be fully integrated within Carl Zeiss, and it will continue to support customers in the industrial and materials microscopy markets.

Additionally, IMAS will contribute its software application development expertise and support of digital imaging platforms across Zeiss’ microscopy product portfolio and its expanding installed product base.
