JPK Appoints Sales Manager

JPK Instruments, a manufacturer of nanoanalytic instrumentation for research in life sciences and soft matter, has announced the appointment of Dr. Robert Field as sales manager for the UK and Ireland.

Field earned a bachelor’s in chemistry from the University of Bristol in 1997. He remained as a postgraduate researcher, studying novel routes to chiral phosphines for catalysis and earning a doctorate in organic chemistry in 2001.

His first commercial role was as applications scientist and customer care manager for Applied Photophysics, a spectroscopy equipment company. Following that, Field held sales management positions at Veeco Instruments, which specializes in metrology equipment, and ionscope, which makes scanning ion conductance microscopy.
