Elliot Taps New Managing Director

Elliot Scientific Ltd., a supplier of optomechanical and laser components and systems, has promoted David Welsh from sales director to the post of managing director.

Welsh has been with Elliot Scientific for 11 years and had previously served as managing director of Newport Ltd. for eight years.

Company founder Mike Elliot moves to the position of chairman, allowing him to concentrate on the more strategic and entrepreneurial direction of the company and permitting Welsh to take over the full operational running of the company.

There is no change to the ownership of Elliot Scientific Ltd.
