Laser Technology Wins First Eastern Europe Orders

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., June 4 -- Laser Technology, Inc. has won several orders valued at more than $380,000 from national and local police agencies in Europe. Most of the orders are for the company's new UltraLyte laser speed measurement devices, a number of which will be shipped to countries in Eastern and Southeastern Europe. Two of the orders mark the first speed measurement laser sales to the countries in question.
These orders are gratifying for several reasons, stated Blair Zykan, president and chief executive officer of Laser Technology, Inc. The expansion into new geographic markets indicates growing worldwide acceptance of our laser speed measurement products. Traffic safety customers in Eastern Europe appear ready for new technology, and as economic conditions in that area continue to improve, we believe the market for our products will expand as well.
