Prysm Appoints Scorse to VP, GM

Prysm, provider of Laser Phosphor Displays (LPD’s) for large format display applications, announced Steve Scorse has been appointed as vice president and general manager, EMEA, based in the UK. The company recently announced its intended target in the commercial AV marketplace with its LPD technology.

Scorse brings with him more than 30 years of general management and global sales and marketing experience in the AV industry. Prior to joining Prysm, he spent over a decade at Barco in both Europe and the United States. He held various management positions throughout his tenure and, according to the company was responsible for taking Barco’s LED & Projection Systems Business Unit from start-up to annual revenues in excess of $200 million.
