Spectros Names Distributors

Spectros of Portola Valley, Calif., a developer of advanced molecular sensing and imaging devices for detecting ischemia and cancer, announced it has signed exclusive distribution deals for its T-Stat VLS tissue oximeter and sensors. Australia-based Endovations will distribute the products to the Australian and New Zealand markets, while Netherlands-based Fysicon Medical Technology will cover the Dutch, Belgian and Luxembourgian (Benelux), and Surinamese markets. AMI Italia will distribute in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Greece, Turkey and Russia. The values of the deals were not disclosed. The T-Stat franchise includes the VLS (visible light spectroscopy), a multiwavelength, noninvasive, continuous, real-time monitor of absolute hemoglobin oxygen saturation. The T-Stat sensors monitor ischemia in various applications, including critical care, gastroenterology, and colorectal, plastic and vascular surgery.
