Thermo Fisher Names 2 Directors
Scientific instrumentation maker Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. of Waltham, Mass., announced it has added two directors to its board – Thomas J. Lynch and Tyler Jacks, PhD. The additions bring the company’s board to 12 members. Lynch is CEO of Tyco Electronics Ltd., a provider of engineered electronic components, network solutions, and wireless and undersea telecommunication systems. In 2008, he was appointed to the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee by President George W. Bush. Jacks is the David H. Koch Professor of Biology at MIT and director of the David H. Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research. He was recently elected president of the American Association for Cancer Research.
