Vista Medical Gets $1 Million Camera Order

CARLSBAD, Calif., April 12 -- Vista Medical Technologies Inc. reports that an OEM customer has placed a second order for $1.0 million in endoscopic cameras to be delivered in 1999 for distribution principally in European markets. The first order from this customer, placed in December 1998, called for $1.2 million in cameras to be distributed primarily in the North American market.
Vista develops, manufactures and markets 3-D visualization and information systems for minimally invasive cardiothoracic, head, neck and spine surgery, as well as general surgical and other microsurgical procedures.
