Specialty glass and glass-related systems manufacturer Schott of Elmsford, N.Y., has launched its redesigned Web site. The site has been optimized to more clearly present the company’s range of capabilities while easing navigation with a new interface. Customers accessing www.us.schott.com automatically will be directed to the new site, which presents the company’s portfolio from an “applications” perspective. The home page rotates features that highlight Schott’s technologies, history and “real world” customer innovations. The company said a key challenge in site development was simplifying navigation. Schott consulted customers and reviewed traffic trends to develop a more user-friendly, innovative and interactive site. The redesign marks the company’s continued investment in its North American operations, Schott said.
