WEST TRENTON, NJ, April 12 -- Bio-Imaging Technologies Inc. announced results for the second quarter of fiscal year 1999, which ended on March 31, 1999. Net income for the quarter was approximately $71,000, or $0.01 per diluted share on revenues of approximately $1,328,000. These figures compare to a net loss of approximately $509,000, or $(0.07) per diluted share on revenues of $946,000 for the same period last year.
Bio-Imaging Technologies attributes the increase in revenues to increased sales and marketing efforts, combined with overall market growth and an expanded client base. The company is a pharmaceutical contract service organization supporting the product development process of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.
