Andor Brings 'Revolution' to China
Andor Technology, dealing in scientific imaging and spectroscopy solutions, is strengthening its position in the Chinese market with the first installations of its “Revolution” confocal microscopy systems at universities in Hefei and Wuhan, China. Building on 10 years of experience selling into China through its distribution channels, the Belfast, UK-based company launched its direct presence in 2006 by opening an office in Beijing. Since then, the company has established itself as a vendor with a customer list that includes leading research institutes and universities. According to the company, Andor’s sales in China have increased by 20 percent from the financial year ending Sept. 30, 2008.
