Spectranetics Appoints 2 Directors

Colorado Springs-based laser manufacturer, Spectranetics Corp., has announced the appointment of William C. Jennings and Anne Melissa Dowling to its board of directors. As a result of this move, the company has regained compliance with NASDAQ Stock Market Rule 4350(c)(1), which states that a majority of a company’s board of directors must be comprised of independent directors. Prior to this appointment, Jennings retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers, one of the largest accounting firms in the world. Dowling was most recently the senior vice president for strategy of the US Insurance Group at MassMutual Financial Group.
