Raydiance Hires Beyer as CFO

Ultrafast laser maker Raydiance Corp. of Petaluma, Calif., announced that it has hired William R. Beyer as chief financial officer (CFO). Beyer brings more than two decades of blue-chip professional experience to Raydiance, having served as CFO of multiple emerging technology companies. Prior to joining Raydiance, Beyer served as CFO and treasurer of Bitfone Corp., later acquired by Hewlett-Packard. He has also served as CFO at Vollee Inc. and Mahi Networks, and as regional vice president of international business development and finance with Advanced Fibre Communications Inc. Beyer, a CPA, was formerly with Arthur Andersen LLP.
