Solyndra Boosts Euro Presence

Solyndra Inc. of Fremont, Calif., has announced the opening of its European headquarters in Holzkirchen, Germany, near Munich, in response to the high commercial demand for rooftop photovoltaic systems. As managing director and vice president of sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Clemens Jargon will be responsible for overseeing the company’s sales and service operations in those European countries with active photovoltaic markets, including Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece and France.
