Bayer MaterialScience Joins Agreement with Hologram Maker
Bayer MaterialScience AG of Leverkusen, Germany and Bayer MaterialScience LLC of Pittsburgh, Pa., have entered into a joint development agreement with Ultimate Holographic Reproductions Inc., of Woodbridge, Canada, to advance the commercialization of high-quality, true-color holographic images. The German and U.S. companies will supply color-sensitive photopolymers for mass replication of true-color master holograms to be produced by the Canadian company. The agreement will allow the companies to produce full-color holograms on an industrial scale and satisfy the image quality and cost effectiveness requirements. The holograms are suitable for the advertising industry, packaging and entertainment sectors, product design and the manufacture of a range of high-quality print products.
