eASIC Corp. Selects Patrick Little as CEO
Patrick Little has been appointed as chief executive officer of eASIC Corp., a provider of zero mask-charge ASIC devices in Santa Clara, Calif. Little brings over 25 years of engineering, marketing, sales and general management experience in the semiconductor and consumer industries. He joins the company after serving as senior vice president of products and market development at Xilinx. He also served as the company’s vice president and general manager of the high volume products group, vice president and general manager of the CPLD business unit and as corporate vice president of worldwide sales & services. Prior to Xilinx, Little served as CEO of Believe Inc. and as executive vice president of sales and marketing at Rendition Inc., a graphics IC company acquired by Micron Technology Inc. He was also general manager of the consumer audio division at Diamond Multimedia Systems Inc., and has held management positions at both Trident Microsystems Inc. and Opti Inc. With a BSEE from San Jose State University, Little began his career as a systems architect and design engineer at Wyse Technology Inc. He will succeed Ronnie Vasishta, who will remain at the company as president and will additionally assume the responsibility as chief operation officer at eASIC.
