Luminary Micro Taps Pete Zimmer as VP of Worldwide Sales

Luminary Micro of Austin, Texas, manufacturer of ARM Cortex-M3-based microcontrollers (MCUs), has named Pete Zimmer as vice president of worldwide sales. Zimmer, a former Microchip vice president, brings more 25 years of experience in the electronics industry, covering automotive plant operations, project engineering, and sales and marketing. Zimmer previously founded an electronics manufacturer’s representative company and has also represented companies such as Sharp, AT&T, Xilinx International Rectifier, and NEC.
