BitFlow Taps Cooper Vision as Canadian Rep.

Cooper Vision Technologies has been named Canadian distributor for BitFlow Inc., manufacturer of industrial frame grabbers and software for the imaging industry. Located in Woburn, Mass., BitFlow specializes in interfacing to cameras with very high data/frame rates, working in environments with complex triggering and I/O requirements. “I’m excited by their new suite of frame grabbers developed in 2007, which take full advantage of the high bandwidth available in the PCI Express bus,” said Kevin Cooper, president of Cooper Vision Technology. “The new boards all feature BitFlow’s unique FlowThru technology, which provides zero latency access to data, super low CPU usage, and unlimited DMA destination size.” The two companies have worked together for several years in different capacities.
