Steve Kelley Joins Cree as Chief Operating Officer

Steve Kelley has joined Cree Inc. of Durham, N.C. as executive vice president and chief operating officer, the LED maker announced today. In his position, a new one within the company, Kelley will oversee Cree's business development, global manufacturing, technology and administrative operations. Kelley comes to Cree after five years at Texas Instruments, where he served as vice president and general manager of the Standard Linear and Logic Group. Before that, he spent 10 years at Philips Semiconductors in various management positions.
