Multicountry Research Unit Is Created

The Swiss National Science Foundation in Bern and the German Research Foundation will give funding of approximately €2 million to PolarCoN, a research unit that comprises eight research groups. The groups, from universities in Switzerland and Germany, will focus on improving the efficiency of GaN-based green light emitters.
