Deadline Extended for SSL Product Development Funding

The deadline for the Solid-State Lighting (SSL) Product Development (Round 5) funding opportunity has been extended from Friday, June 27 until Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at 3 p.m. EST. The U.S. Department of Energy released this funding opportunity on May 12, 2008 to solicit applications from industrial organizations for high-priority product development activities that will advance the state-of-the-art of SSL used for general lighting applications. During the extension period, applicants may submit an application, resubmit an application in accordance with the Funding Opportunity Announcement guidance, or retain an original submission for review as is. If an application is resubmitted, only the application with the latest transmission time stamp will be considered for review.
