Q-Cells, LDK Solar Sign Agreement

Q-Cells AG has signed a 10-year take-or-pay contract with LDK Solar Co. Ltd. of Xinyu, China, to begin in 2009. Over the course of the agreement, the Chinese company will supply the German company with 43,000 tonnes of silicon to be manufactured into solar cells with an overall output peak of more than 6 GW.
