Increase in German Laser Sales Predicted

The German Industry Association for Optical, Medical and Mechatronical Technologies has released predictions for the laser and optical components industries. According to the Berlin-based association, the total sales by the German industries are expected to rise to about €9.7 billion in 2008, an increase of 9 percent from 2007. The companies that were surveyed expect increases of approximately 10 and 8 percent in domestic and foreign sales, respectively.
