ICP Solar and Schott Sign Agreement

ICP Solar Technologies Inc. of Montreal, a developer and manufacturer of solar products, has signed a multiyear agreement with Schott Solar GmbH of Alzenau, Germany. The Canadian company will use Schott’s thin-film plate technology with its nonglass-backed modules, beginning with the 2008 edition of the Sunsei product line. ICP said that the plates will make the products lighter, more durable and better for the environment because they contain no toxic materials and deliver 25% more power than previous models.
