Steinmeyer Inc. has released a 75-page catalog titled “Precision Motion-Systems Characteristics,” which showcases a wide range of linear and rotary positioning systems made by the Steinmeyer FMD division. The publication features single- and multiaxis precision stages, some with resolutions to 5 nm and some that offer built-in motors and controllers for applications where space is limited. Various drive mechanisms, including linear and piezo motor types and the ball screw, are shown. For OEMs and machine builders, technical information is provided on how the company can design a wide variety of plug-and-play bundled solutions.
