James McCarthy Joins Jmar Board

Jmar Technologies Inc. of San Diego, a developer of advanced laser, photonics and detection technologies, announced that James B. McCarthy has been elected to its board of directors and appointed to serve on the compensation and governance/nominating committees, effective immediately. McCarthy is chairman and CEO of Gemini Consulting Group, an international management consulting and development company focused on the health care industry. Prior to forming Gemini, McCarthy was executive vice president of a Chicago-based health care consulting company. He has also served as vice president and general manager of a medical device manufacturing company in Chicago, and spent five years in increasingly responsible planning positions with the medical products division of 3M Co.
