LIA Announces 2008 Board of Directors

The Laser Institute of America (LIA) announced its 2008 officers and 2008-2010 board of directors members at its 2007 annual meeting and awards luncheon, held last month at the 26th International Congress on Applications of Lasers and Electro-Optics (ICALEO). 2008 officers are: Rajesh Patel (Spectra-Physics Lasers Inc.) president-elect; Klaus Löffler (Trumpf Laser Div.) secretary; and Stephen Capp ( Laserage Technology Corp., Waukegan, Ill. ) treasurer.
