Blogger Offers Light Cure for Closet-Impaired

Em Hall -- a fashion blogger who was cited by the Washington Post this week for her promotion of a Goodwill marketing campaign to appeal to young, professional women -- includes a photonics-related tip for organizing a closet in an Oct. 25 post: Use the visible-light color spectrum as your (approximate) guide. "I actually start with greys, then browns and ivories (which aren't on the spectrum),"  Hall writes eagerly, "then dive right into the reds and continue on from there." She advocates grouping patterns in predominate color groups and lining up same-color clothes by the lengths of their sleeves. "After a few mornings of picking out an outfit in front of a colorized closet," she adds, "you'll be thanking me."
