Zecotek Names US Distributor for New Fiber Laser Line

Zecotek Medical Systems Inc. announced the appointment of Market Tech, Inc. as US sales representative for its new line of fiber laser products. Zecotek Medical Systems of Vancouver, British Columbia, creates high-performance crystals, photodetectors, medical lasers, optical imaging and 3-D display technologies for medical diagnostics and industry applications. The company has also developed a line of fiber lasers and subsystems. Market Tech, based in Scotts Valley, Calif., provides distribution and sales representation for a variety of photonics manufacturers. With the appointment, Zecotek said it received an initial order for its first fiber product, the GLF-540-0.2 green fiber laser, from a US-based customer.
