Edmund Expands Schneider Optics Line

Edmund Optics (EO) said it will offer seven lines of Schneider Imaging lenses via its catalog and Web site, including three CCD lenses, F0.95 fixed-focal-length lenses, bilateral telecentric lenses and compact VIS/NIR (ultraviolet/ visible near-infrared) lenses. The Schneider-Group makes lenses for industrial applications, photographic lenses, optical filters, cinema projection lenses and optical accessories. EO, based in Barrington, N.J., is a provider of optics components for R&D, electronics, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biomedical and military markets. "The addition of these Schneider imaging lenses to the Edmund Optics line-up means that customers can compare a large variety of optics, selecting exactly what they need to build the right system every time,” said Robert Edmund, CEO.
