Laser-Based Sensor Companies Form Group

Four companies involved in developing noncontact, laser-based measurement and control sensors for industrial applications have merged to form Laser Measurement International Inc. in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The companies are Selcom Inc. in Gothenburg, Sweden; Dynamic Control Systems in Vancouver; Sensors-95 in Maastricht, The Netherlands; and Sensor Adaptive Machines Inc. of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The group will reorganize into six divisions to address the needs of the rubber, automotive and wood products industries. Laser Measurement International will have R&D and manufacturing facilities in Canada, The Netherlands and Sweden.
