Arasor Signs Agreement to Acquire Alfalight

Arasor International Ltd. of Mountain View, Calif., a supplier of optical and wireless solutions, has entered into an agreement to acquire Madison, Wis.-based Alfalight Inc., a maker of high-power diode lasers. The acquisition is expected to take place on or around Nov. 1. Under the terms of the transaction, Alfalight’s staff and management team will continue to operate from the Wisconsin manufacturing site as a wholly owned subsidiary of Arasor US Corp. The merger will enhance Alfalight’s ability to generate a diverse range of differentiated solutions as well as to improve new products with high-power laser innovation.
