QPC Lasers Wins Contract for Industrial Lasers

QPC Lasers Inc. of Sylmar, Calif., has been awarded a follow-on contract from a European customer to deliver production prototype lasers for precision industrial measurement applications. The contract brings the customer’s total orders for this product to more than $500,000 as of June, reflecting the past 12-month period, and it marks the transition from development to early-stage production. QPC’s internal grating-based lasers emit light with a highly accurate spectrum, rendering them suitable for applications in the defense, industrial and national security markets.
