FiO 2007, OSA Annual Near

Deadlines are approaching for Frontiers in Optics (FiO) 2007-the 91st OSA Annual Meeting-Laser Science (LS) XXIII, to be held Sept. 16-20 at the Fairmont San Jose in San Jose, Calif.

The housing deadline is Aug. 16, preregistration deadline is Aug. 24 and postdeadline submssions are due Aug. 31 by noon.

The event unites the Optical Society of America (OSA) and American Physical Society (APS) communities for five days of presentations and special events. The FiO 2007 conference will also offer a number of short courses and an exhibition by leading optics companies (Sept. 18-19).

LS XXIII is the annual meeting of the American Physical Society (APS) laser science division, providing a forum for the latest work on laser applications and developments in physics, biology and chemistry. The conference will continue to be held in conjunction with OSA’s annual meeting.
