Carl Zeiss SMT Appoints VP Sales and Service, North America

Carl Zeiss SMT Inc. today announced the appointment of industry veteran Daniel McGee to the position of vice president, sales and service for North America. McGee brings over 28 years of experience in the semiconductor and industrial capital equipment business to Carl Zeiss SMT, a provider of lithography optics, optical- and particle beam-based inspection, analysis and measuring systems, and microscopes for life sciences applications. McGee most recently served as vice president, IBM Global Alliance at KLA-Tencor. Prior to that, he managed KLA-Tencor's field operations in the Midwest, Eastern US and Canada. He has also worked for Varian Semiconductor and Tencor Instruments. McGee will be based at Carl Zeiss SMT's new headquarters in Peabody, Mass.
