Alfalight Awarded $1.7 Million Contract

A research and development contract worth $1.7 million has been awarded to Alfalight Inc. of Madison, Wis. The contract was provided by the Army Research Laboratory of Adelphi, Md., to fund the development of high-power fiber-coupled pump modules suitable for pumping fiber laser systems developed in conjunction with the laboratory.
