SPI Lasers Expands into China

To offer a wide range of local sales and support services, SPI Laser plc of Southampton, UK, has opened an office in Shenzhen, China, in cooperation with Hong Kong-based A&P Instrument Co. Ltd. The expansion is a result of strong sales growth over the past year in continuous-wave lasers for a variety of micromachining applications. A&P Instrument has six offices throughout China, each of which offers sales and support for the UK company, and it is expected to make investments this year to further support and expand the range of SPI products and applications.
