Company Gets Contract for Terahertz Source

Teraphysics Corp. of Cleveland has received a $730,000 Phase II contract from the US Army Research Office to develop technology that provides new capabilities in threat detection systems. It is working on handheld devices that operate in the terahertz spectral band as part of an imaging system that can be deployed to protect sensitive installations.
