NuSil Technology Chooses Velox as Distributor

A manufacturer of silicone-based materials for the health care, aerospace, photonics and electronics industries, NuSil Technology LLC of Carpinteria, Calif., has announced an agreement with Velox GmbH, a distributor of raw materials based in Hamburg, Germany. Under terms of the partnership, Velox will circulate NuSil’s health care and engineering products to Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain, Portugal and Turkey.

In other news, Nusil also has expanded its global operation with the opening of a technical support office in Asia. Based in Penang, Malaysia, the unit will specialize in the areas of optoelectronics and electronics packaging, which are served by the company’s Lightspan products and low-outgassing electronic packaging materials, respectively. T.Y. Lim, an applications engineer, will head the office.
