Agilent Technologies Appoints New European Distributors

Agilent Technologies Inc. of Palo Alto, Calif., today announced the appointment of new distributors for its test and measurement products in Europe. Distribution agreements have been reached with the following companies in the respective countries: Elsinger Electronic Handel Gmbh (Austria), Francaise d'Instrumentation-Distrame SA (France), Datatec Gmbh (Germany), Gould G.N. Sistemi srl and Pansystem srl (Italy), Elfa AB ( Sweden, Finland, Denmark), Distrelec AG (Switzerland), and FarnellInOne, a division of Premier Farnell UK Ltd. (United Kingdom and catalog sales in Europe). The agreements initially cover Agilent's range of basic power supplies, bench digital multimeters, connectivity solutions and the 3000 series of oscilloscopes. Later this year, Agilent said it will expand the basic instruments portfolio and those products will also be included in these agreements. The designated products will only be sold via the new distributors, Agilent said.
