Rofin-Sinar Gains Stake in H2B Photonics
Rofin-Sinar Technologies Inc. of Plymouth, Mich., has purchased a 40 percent stake in H2B Photonics GmbH of Garbsen, Germany. The latter develops, manufactures and sells laser-based systems that are used to cut brittle materials, such as glass, for plasma screens, windows, automotive parts and hollowware. It holds the worldwide license for the multiple laser beam absorption process.
